Game Summary

• Rangers FC control play for the first 20 minutes as the FSFC work in another new lineup
• Ken controls the game early making the easy saves
• FSFC successfully run the trap 5 times suffocating the offense
• After another offsides call, the ball is quickly restarted and a high bounding ball is played deep to #19 down the right side who blindley flicks the ball over the sweeper and stopper to a wide open Kblische. Kblische corrals the ball at the 18 dribbles in and easily beats Opie
  
• FSFC 1 Rangers 0
• Halftime arrives and the FSFC have their first lead in 4 games
• 2nd half is more of the same, Rangers dribble, dribble dribble then hit weak shots sometimes at the goal
• Defense struggles to clear the ball multiple times and give up 4 straight corner kicks
• Fading Stars win a throw in at midfield- Awhite sends it down the line to Kblische- who beats his mark and heads down the field. The Rangers sweeper inexplicably calls for the trap 30 yards out and #19 and Jihad circle back leaving Kblische with a clear path to the goal. Kblische dribbles down the left side unabated and beats Opie far post FSFC 2 Rangers 0
• Fading Stars are content to defend and counter attack with the lead.
  
• #19 wins a throw deep down the right half- throws it back to Kblische who dribbles up and blasts a perfect cross to the back post where Bobby2 hits a textbook header straight down making it impossible for the keeper to save. FSFC 3 Rangers 0

Game Summary

• we started with 11 thanks to the clock falling back an hour
• Bodo makes a comment about how he hates losing to a team with a girl on it
• Game is pretty even for the first 25 minutes
• Bobby1 gets loose in side the box and misses his far post shot wide left
• Ft Sam counter and play a long ball to #17 who races past Bergman and scores Ft sam 1-0
• 1-0 Halftime
• FSFC dominate the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half- Bobby1 dribbles into the box and lays the ball off for Alex who misses the wide open shot high
• Ft Sam counter and hit a shot right at Ken who fumbles the rebound, no defenders follow and #17 scores again 2-0
• Following last weeks script, the FSFC begin their last minute heroics
• Pblische gets loose several times and just can't finish
• Rusty takes a beauty of a dive in the box earning a PK
• Pblische takes the PK and hits it exactly like last week only this time the keeper cleared the shot
• Pblische gets loose again, keeper makes the save and #19 heads the rebound over the net
• We can't score
• Final FSFC 0 Ft Sam Houston 2

• We will be sacrificing a live chicken next sunday to get rid of the goal scoring curse
• playing the Army is no fun as they are too nice
• Attendance was exactly what we needed- too bad everyone was hung over
  
• Ken was gracious to give up 2 goals to a guy shipping off to Afghanistan on Friday- Way to go Ken!
• 2 bets where established during the game
• Romo and JP will be taking on #19 and Berryman in a little 2v2 basketball- Romo claims to have a sky hook- but we all know with his jumping ability it will be more of a ground hook
• The other bet Rusty and Jihad have is whether #19 has a bigger hog than the 6'4 black guy from another field. #19 is the heavy favorite in this battle
